Michelle Murrell is an alt country, singer / songwriter from the NSW Central Coast. Music has been an important part of Michelle’s life from a young age, her first true love. Playing in bands throughout High School, Michelle met her husband James, also a musician, in the local band scene in the late 90’s. Personal loss in 2019 brought music back to Michelle’s life and the gift of song writing and performing proved to be a healing and powerful outlet. Michelle has a unique and distinctive vocal sound, showcasing a country folk twang mixed with a heavily influenced 90's grunge upbringing. Often joined by husband James on percussion, Michelle's original mixture of melodic vocals, rhythmic guitar and well-crafted song writing is sure to pull you in on a journey that you won't forget.
